Biography

A unique, interactive event that combines live original music with camped-up comedy, The Fabulous Miss Billy Dare Show is the latest incarnation of the highly popular and critically acclaimed act, Billy Dare & The Pumps.  Originally from Boston, MA, Billy Dare & The Pumps spent several years as a road act, constantly touring both gay and straight nightclubs and resorts in 23 states east of the Mississippi, prior to relocating to Las Vegas two years ago.
Billy Dare

The Fabulous Miss Billy Dare Show is comprised of three members.  Heading up the act is Miss Billy Dare, a singer/songwriter/comedienne.  Complimenting Miss Billy’s talents are The Pumps – Todd Johnston on guitar and Michael Branch (aka Mikey Pump) on bass.  Like Miss Billy, both are strong songwriters and comics, in addition to being multi-instrumental.

Adult-oriented, The Fabulous Miss Billy Dare Show features a mix of primarily original music, character comedy (The Belle of the Borscht Belt, Patsy Clinestein, Hillbilly Hottie, Starlene, etc) and improv, presented in an anything goes atmosphere.  The interactive nature of show dissolves the separation between the stage and audience, making everybody in the room part of the entertainment.  As the press clips below confirm, The Fabulous Miss Billy Dare Show is a one of a kind spectacle!
